• Must have projector connected for it to work. Camera sucks the image in, projector spits it out.
• So it works a little differently than an overhead projector, even though it can be used in the same way. It can also be used for a lot more!
FeaturesFreeze- freezes the image you have on the screen
Auto Image: Camera chooses what to focus on
Zoom: Zooms in or out on an image or piece of text
Auto Focus: Focuses the image under the camera
Menu: This can change the way the camera sees the image, e.g. making the image a negative, changing color. (Play with it!)
Lens
• The top of the document camera is the lens. It also turns so that you can have your document under it.
Light• The lens of the camera has a light built in.
Turning it down or off can help with the glare off of a transparency, or you can turn it on if your room is dark.
There really is a laser, which is how the camera auto-focuses…
PC Connection
• Ability to connect to PC to record or take pictures.
• Can use to take a picture of a document or use with InterWrite, but scanning in the document is higher quality and easier to work with.
