Download the TECkit compiler from here (You need this for generating the necessary .tecle):http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?site_id=nrsi&id=TECkit3. From command line, run the command:C:\>teckit_compile harvardkyoto.map -o harvardkyoto.tec14. Now place the les harvardkyoto.map and harvardkyoto.tec within the directory tree of TeX(This is in Mac/ Windows path may differ slightly?). Go to the main directory and look forTeX directory. Then follow the path:Root/texmf-dist/fonts/misc/xetex/fontmapping/xetex-devanagari/Replace the corresponding harvardkyoto.map and .tec les with the new ones.5. Proper halanta should now appear.2
