Hello!
Tips from our Princess Wedding Co Girls
Kristina “Stay Connected with your wedding coordinator through email, Blog or Facebook. Planning a wedding is stressful! So get a mas-sage, visit spa, or just get pedicures regularly to treat yourself ”
Anneli“Set a budget and stick with it. Gorgeous weddings don’t have to cost millions. Pinterest is flooded with fabulous DIY projects that will save you tons of money. Come see few ide-as we pinned to our DIY WEDDING IDEAS pin board”
Janet “Take care of your marriage license when you get to town. Re-member courthouses are open Monday-Friday and are closed for Holidays. Your marriage license has to be from Florida
courthouse! ”
Mayya“Add a touch of glam to your wedding. Flowers, glitter, and lace will glam up any wedding. Follow our blog for latest trends in beach weddings”
Edina“I always look for new and fresh picture ideas. My advice is get creative with photo-shoots. Bring props. Tell your love story”
Simplified Beach WeddingDecide on a ceremony location. Do you want your ceremony to be at a public beach access (close to where you will be staying?), Beach state park, beach access at the resort, or in front of beach house? If you are not sure or need help please contact your coordinator.
Decide where you want to stay. Resort vs beach house.
Pick time for ceremony. From my experience the best times are one and half hour before sunset or before 10 am.
Book your reception siteAt this point the main things are done. Now comes the fun stuff:
My favorite part: get a dress!
Start a new board just for your wedding on Pinterest. For some inspiration follow our beach wed-ding boards here.
Decide on a color palette. Stick with 2-3 color choices.
Decide on Bridal party attire
Pick your music. Decide whether you would like prerecorded vs. live music.
Pick your vows (our wedding officiate will email them to you so all you have to do is pick an option that fits you best)
Pick your cake, flowers, DJ, caterer (some places come with their own caterer, so this step may be done at the time of booking reception site)
Optional: Create a wedding website and post all info and directions on there. This will save you tons of phone calls and emails from your guests.
Get a final count on your guests, then get a massage (trust me you’ll need it after this step).
Get your marriage license at any Florida Court House.
Run other final details with your wedding vendors and guests.
And, finally….!
