ABSTRACT
This report present the basic concept to the design and construction of an AM radio receiver that
operates between the medium wave (MW) band of 530KHz to 1600KHz, the aim is achieved by
receiving a radio wave from transmitting station through receiving antenna and then when
through processes(such as amplifying, mixing, demodulating) and reproduces an audio sound at
the loudspeaker output, the selectivity, sensitivity are high where as noise and distortion are low,
the construction was tested and found working.
