Aims and objectives The course is designed to give the students information on social casework process, basic concepts
involved and its scientific basis. There will be discussion on client – caseworkers relationship diagonals
and treatment process, interviewing techniques and tools like recording and its types. It also involves
discussion on authority and its use in social casework, the phenomena of transference and types of
treatment etc.

Aims and objectives
The student of BS final year will be assigned practical community development project they work under the
guidance of fieldwork supervisor and study the sociological problems of people and help them in solving
their problems on self help basis.
Note: The students have to submit three copies of field reports to the department at the end of those visits
