After a session of brainstorming the group decided that the online presence of David Richards needed an overhaul.

Design (lack of brand identity, poorly layout pages, lack or visual coherence)
Information architecture (important content buried, poor navigation, unclear service offerings, lack of structure, related content not grouped together)
Wording (navigation links not clear)
An inspection of the website carried out by the team members identified three main problems with the current online presence.

Two main target users have been identified:
A closer inspection of the website shows that one of the main users of the site is for David Richards customers. This area at the moment is not clear and well defined and contains no instructions on how to join or login.
The other identified user group is for the general public who require printing services and for businesses to identify whether David Richards can provide them with their business requirements regarding design, print and storage solutions.

Card sorting
The online card sorting application we used helped to evaluate the information architecture of the site. We organised topics from the website into categories that made sense to us. After this exercise we were able to build the new structure of the site.
