Waking Up to Unconditional Happiness
with Sanjay Manchanda Ph.D.
May 15, 2016
When we listen to the news, or reflect on an uncertain future we find many reasons to be unhappy, and think that we have no choice in the matter. Ancient Dharmic teachings tell us that life experience is a construct of the mind, much like a modern virtual reality game. Waking up is realizing that you are not the virtual character you thought and felt you were. Because positive and negative mind constructs are equally real and unreal, you can construct a life filled with positive mind states such as joy, lovingkindness and gratitude. .. Teaching will include meditation, inquiry and other exercises for waking up to, and maintaining contact with the clear core consciousness of your Being.
Sunday, May 15, 2016 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. TCMC, 1231 E. Edison
