Your address does not change, you simply include the Eircode at the bottom of your address. This will make it quicker and easier for medical emergency services and others to locate addresses.

Used Stamps for Charity: Boxes provided in Coolmeen Church, Kildysart Church & Kildysart Post Office for the used stamps for charity. Thank you.

GAA NEWS Hard Luck to Cathal O Connor and the Clare Football Team who were defeated by Longford last Saturday in Cusack Park. At the half time interval of that game, a selection of the County U-10 Football players took part in a Blitz in front of thousands of Clare supporters and Coolmeen were proudly represented by Rian Meaney and Regan McMahon. What a great honour for Rian, Regan and their families and all who promote and support Coolmeen GAA. Well done boys. Rest in Peace: You are asked to remember in your prayer Michael (Sonny) Kelly, Carrowreagh East who died on 4th July 2015. We pray that the Lord will grant Sonny eternal rest and console his brother Francis, sisters Mary, Breda and Nellie, his nephews & nieces and all who knew and loved him. We also pray for Kathleen Donnelly, who died on 16th

May, 2015 and whose funeral was celebrated in Hertfordshire, England. Her husband Jos was born in Cranny and she is survived by three daughters and six grandchildren. May the Lord grant all the faithful departed eternal rest.

Saint Benedict: Saturday 11th July is the feast of the patron of our parish, St Benedict. He was born around the year 480 in central Italy. He is regarded as the "Father of Western Monasticism" and is a patron of Europe. He is buried in Monte Cassino alongside his sister, St Scholastica. The monks at Glenstal, County Limerick still follow his rule of life today.
