CPS Google Apps are in a single domain Teachers can email in and out of CPS network. Teachers can share only free/busy aspects of calendar outside of domain Docs cannot be shared outside of domain Sites likely will not be shared outside of domain, but follow roll-out to test In upcoming years, some parameters will change. Keep vigilant!

The CPS VITAL grant is still active and will provide much information this fall about using iPads and Nooks in the high school. Much of this information will be useful to elementary librarians, too. Information on using various mobile devices is often changing. Use our CPS Librarians Gmail groups for iPads and Nooks to share with other librarians about these topics. Tap into the "PLUS Tech" program for info.

iPad users can use the Follett Shelf app There are 7,000+ eBooks available currently in the CPS Virtual Library for every CPS school to use. Get information about the CPS Virtual Library at http://cpsvl.wikispaces.com

OverDrive eBooks will be added to the collection. Watch for information Other vendors' eBooks will likely be added this year, included 2,000 eBooks from Pearson Curate your own school's eBook collection to complement the CPS Virtual Library collection
