All our Ashtanga Yoga Nicaragua Trainers are registered through the Yoga Alliance Organizations.
This is a comprehensive immersion program for the beginner. It is a practical training programme designed to make you a safe & effective yoga teacher, for beginner students who want to become teachers or deepen their practice. You will also take the steps towards a yogic lifestyle with a deeper understanding of many dimensions of yoga.

SAMPLE SCHEDULE
To be awarded a certificate students will need to successfully complete:
Home assignments | written quizzes | final written & practice exam
On completion of the requirements students will be given a ‘Yoga Alliance Accredited Diploma’ with international standard.
Students will be expected to:
• Be fully present and participate actively in the training.
• Building an everyday self practice.
• Practice teaching with other participants in the group.
• Complete all the written assignments.
• Complete the final written assignment.
• Demonstrate the ability to teach a complete Modified Primary Series for beginner students as a final exam.
REQUIREMENTS
CERTIFICATION
To obtain the certificate you will need to:
1. Teach a class. You will be assigned to teach a one-on-one beginner class.
2. Assist classes. You will be assigned to assist classes being taught by another instructors. You will be required to give physical adjustments and answer questions at the beginning and end of class.
3. Observe classes. You are required to attend classes taught by other teachers and observe their teaching style.
4. Complete written assignments.
5. Write a personal essay | Your own experience of yoga.
6. Keep a journal | practice log.
7. Statement of teaching philosophy. Compose a short statement of the principles which you intend to uphold as you teach the Ashtanga Yoga system.
8. Three short quizzes which include memorization of all of the Sanskrit names for the asanas.
9. Final written essay test.
The 20 day intensive program is divided into 4 modules, each with it’s own clear goals. Every module is 5 days or 50 hours. The included workbook & manual follow four blocks & guides the yoga student step by step trough both informative text, practical & written assignments.
The Manual covers the fundamental aspects of the Ashtanga Yoga Practice. The Workbook guides the students progressively through practical and written home assignments. In addition to the included learning material we recommend the extra literature to allow students to prepare for lectures & go deeper into each subject.

CREDENTIALS
Our training school has met the stringent requirements set by Yoga Alliance UK. Demonstrating that our courses are of the highest standard and that our graduates may use the title ‘Registered Yoga Teacher’ RYT as a sign of quality training when they register themselves with Yoga Alliance UK.
Yoga Alliance Professionals (UK)
Our schools provide adequate training to yoga teachers, enabling them to teach safely and competently. To register with YAUS and use the title and Registry Mark of Registered Yoga School (RYS®), yoga schools must submit their training syllabus for review and agree to maintain a curriculum that meets Yoga Alliance Standards.
Yoga teachers who complete a RYS teacher training program are generally eligible to apply to register as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT®).
