Annual Measurable Objectives Annual Measurable Objectives are unique yearly targets in
reading and mathematics for specific subgroups, schools and districts.
These targets focus on reducing achievement gaps with the goal of reducing by half the percent of students who are not proficient in AYP categories by spring of 2017.
The categories are: All, American Indian, Asian/Pacific Islander, Black, Hispanic, White, Pacific Islander, Two or More Races, Limited English, SPED, and Low Income. Each subgroup has unique annual targets.
Annual Measureable Objectives calculations use the 2010-2011 scores as a baseline and add six equal annual increments to reach the spring 2017 target.
