• Mission = • What do we do? • For whom do we do it? • What is the impact? • Our mission is what we do best every day, and our
vision is what the future looks like because we do that mission exceedingly well.

The City of Tacoma is recognized as a livable and progressive international city, regarded for the richness of its multi-
cultural population and its natural setting.
• A mission statement is a statement of the purpose of a company or organization. The mission statement should guide the actions of the organization, spell out its overall goal, provide a path, and guide decision-making. It provides "the framework or context within which the company's strategies are formulated."[
• A Mission Statement is defined as, “a long awkward sentence that demonstrates management’s inability to think clearly.” All good companies have one.- The Dilbert Principle
