How To Prevent Electric Shocks?
When putting an electrical plug into the socket, make sure that :he switch is off, your hands are dry & your fingers are away from the metal pins
Always turn off all switches of electrical appliances after using them.
Make sure that reflexes and plugs are in good condition.
Keep electrical cords away from water and hot objects.
Before using an appliance, make sure your hands are dry and that you are standing on a dry surface
How To Prevent Burns?
When putting saucepans on the hot plates or gas burners, turn handles in such a way that they cannot be knocked off.
When removing a lid from a pan, tilt the lid so that the steam goes away from your face.
Use thick oven cloths or oven gloves to carry hot dishes or saucepans.
How To Prevent Cuts?
Use a chopping board to cut food, cutting away from the body.
Always pick up a knife by the handle.
When carrying a knife, hold it with the blade pointing downwards.
Do not try to catch a falling knife.
When opening cans, cut the lid completely off using a can opener.
In case of broken glass, sweep up all the pieces immediately. Use a damp paper towel to pick tiny pieces
