1. THE NAME OF THE CHURCH
The church shall be South African Zion’s Salvation
The shortened version shall be SA ZION (AMASALIVESHE)
2. THE COLORS OF THE CHURCH
The colors shall be white and green
The emblem shall be the salvation wheel, Angel’s wings and church holly cross on white background
3. THE SITTING OF HEAD OFFICE
The seat of the head office shall be at Eshowe unless decided otherwise by Bishop’s conference and rectified by Trustee
4. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
4.1 SA Zion is a religious organization to enhance and advance UBUYONI
4.2 To preach the word of God to non-believers and believers who have fallen weak
4.3 To convert the non-believers, baptize them in the river, give membership certificates
4.4 To lay hands to the sick, bless Holy Water and allow God to finish the healing process
4.5 Visit the very sick at home to give Holy Communion and give them opportunities to pray.
4.6 To conduct marriages and conduct funerals

4.7 To build/own church buildings as a church
4.8 Hire administrators who would assist in the day to day affairs of the church
4.9 Publish books to be sold at a price.
5. DEVELOPMENT SECTION
5.1 The church will be a Development Centre for local communities
5.2 Church volunteers will do door to door to find the destitute, weak and helpless
5.3 The very sick will be washed, cleaned and left with something to eat
5.4 To encourage the use of medication and educate families to care for the sick at home
5.5 Assist the needy children with school necessities
5.6 Able to raise donations for various programmes for needy people.
6. HEALTH AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLES
6.1 The organization will attend to spiritual and health aspect of our church members.
6.2 Some members will be trained as healthcare workers (onompilo)
6.3 Raise funds/ donations to pay stipend to these volunteers
6.4 Organize local fun/walk run for members and communities to keep them healthy in good shape
6.5 Educate community life skills including specific HIV/AIDS prevention strategies

6.7 Assist those who are on Anti retro viral program on taking of drugs and ongoing counseling
6.8 Train the trainer programme of volunteers and organize health talks
7. THE CHURCH AS AN ORGANISATION
7.1 The church will be operating as an independent entity
7.2 It will be running automatically on its own7.3 The organization will acquire movable and immovable assets7.4 It will be able to make balance sheet and borrow monies for its projects7.5 The income that will be accumulated will be for the church projects 7.6 If a member has certain expertise could be requested to render service to the church.7.7 All income and property will remain the property of the church
8. THE CHURCH AS A DISTINCT BODY
8.1 The church will be independent of its members at all times8.2 It will have its identity number which will be different from the leadership or membership8.3 Any debt accumulated by the church will never affect membership or leadership 8.4 The properties and income will never be distributed among the members
9. CHANGE OF LEADERSHIP
9.1 The organization will hold Elective Conference every five years.9.2 The organization will exist and function even during the elective conference.9.3 The Position of the chairperson will only be handed over to the new chairperson at the first meeting of the new structure after reports been handed over.

10. POWERS OF THE ORGANISATION
10.1 The organization will own properties in its name
10.2 It will be able to sue and be sued
10.3 It will raise funds through donations and fund raising in whatever means legally
10.4 The finances will be signed by chairperson, secretary, treasurer.
10.5 For withdrawal or transactions, the two signatures of the above three will be sufficient
11. ORGANISATION STRUCTURES AND GOVERNANCE
11.1 TRUST
11.1.1 The TRUSTEE shall be the Highest Decision making Body in the Church life and final11.1.2 The Trustee shall always be the founder Archbishop only.11.1.3 The Trustee shall appoint the successor by Deed of appointment
11.2 BISHOP’S CONFERENCE
11.2.1 The meeting of all Diocese Bishops
11.2.2 This meeting will be convened by Archbishop once a year or when need arise.
11.2.3 The meeting will discuss policy issues as proposed by Board of Governors.
11.2.4 Where not all provinces has Bishops, Archbishop can convene other Bishops
11.2.5 All decisions will be rectified by the Trustee
11.3 THE BOARD OF GOVERNERS

11.3.1 There shall be a Board of Governors which will make recommendation to Bishop’s Conference11.3.2 The positions are as follows:Archbishop (not elected, member automatically)

11.4 MEMBERSHIP TO THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS
11.4.1 Members will be elected at Conference constituted by members from Dioceses delegates11.4.2 Diocese will send 5 five delegates to the Elective Conference11.4.3 In the absence of Diocese structures, local church/Parish structures may constitute delegates.
11.4.4 AS INTERIM ARRANGEMENT
First few years when there is no Diocese structures, the established churches may fulfill this function. Churches/ Parishes must send the Priest, chairperson, secretary and two other delegates to Elective Conference.They have a right to vote and be voted When all provinces have recognized structures, this interim arrangement will cease to exist.NB: In the absence of structures, Archbishop/Founder must appoint the Interim Committee and has the discressional powers

11.5 THE BOARD WORKING COMMITTEE
11.5.1 The Board Working Committee (BWC) will be composed as follows;
11.5.2 Archbishop, Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Secretary, Deputy Secretary General, Treasurer and Publicity Secretary
11.5.3 The duties of the BWC is to ensure to the daily running of the church and make recommendations to the Board of Governors11.5.4 The Board Working Committee (BWC) will hire the administration staff and supervise the staff personnel if funds available
11.6 POSITIONS TO BE APPROVED BY BOARD OF GOVERNORS
11.6.1 The function of the Board of Governors is to examine the incumbent pastors/persons to be promoted to the next level
- Bishops- Deans/ Mongameli- Priests/Reverend

Anybody to be promoted will be discussed at Board of Governors level and be ordained on behalf of the Board of Governors
11.6.2 BWC will present to the Board of Governors of their recommendations of the incumbents
11.6.3 Archbishop has the authority to ordain Archbishops from other Zion Churches
11.6 PUBLICITY SECRETARY
11.6.1 The person will direct and publicize the affairs of the church.
11.6.2 An incumbent will be elected during the conference.
11.6.3 The main task is to collect information from Parishes and centralize it
11.6.4 Ensure discipline, ensuring that there is one source of information
11.6.5 The Publicity Secretary manages the affairs of the church
12. PROVINCES
12.1 BOUNDARIES AND DERMACATION
* Provinces shall be divided into 4 (four) Dioceses
* Northern Diocese
* Southern Diocese
* Eastern Diocese
* Western Dioceses
12.1.2 The four Diocese of the Province will elect the Provincial Bishop among themselves
12.1.3 The vacant left by the elected Bishop to Province must be filled
12.1.4 All Bishops are delegates to Bishops Conference
12.1.5 All nine provinces will each be divided into four Dioceses
12.1.6 There shall be one Provincial Bishop elected at Provincial Conference
12.1.7 The Conference will be a meeting of delegates from Diocese
12.1.8 Provincial Conference will be held in five (5) years.

12.1.9 The Provincial Bishop will preside over the Provincial Conference
12.2 POWERS OF THE PROVINCIAL CONFERENCE
12.2.1 The Provincial Conference must be held in every five (5) years.

12.4.3 The main task is giving media direction and publicize information

12.5 THE PROVINCIAL WORKING COMMITTEE
12.5.1 The Provincial Working Committee (PWC) will be composed as follows;
12.5.2 Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Treasurer,
PPS and Provincial Bishop
12.5.3 The duties of the PWC is to ensure to the daily running of the church.
Make recommendation to the Provincial Executive Committee
12.5.4 The Provincial Working Committee (PWC) will hire the administration staff
12.6 CIRCUITS
12.6.1 Formed by local churches/Parishes in the areas as decided by the preceding Dioceses Bishop
12.6.2 Any five or more local churches/Parishes in a location will form a circuit
12.6.3 Circuits will be under the leadership of Dean (Mongameli)
12.6.4 The Dioceses Bishop will recommend to the Board of Governors
12.7 BRANCHES/PARISH (IBANDLA LIKAMFUNDISI)
12.7.1 It is the local church
12.7.2 The church/Parish will be run by the Priest/Reverend
12.7.3 Assisted by the Church Council
12.7.4 The Parish will elect the following positions in its AGM which will be held every three years

12.9 THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE (MANCO) OF THE CHURCH COUNCIL
12.9.1 The Church Council Management Committee (MANCO) will be composed as follows;

12.9.2 The duties of the MANCO is to ensure the daily running of the church.

12.10 THE PARISH SECRETARY----UNOBHALA
12.10.1 There will be a position KANOBHALA, who assist and direct the affairs of the church.
12.10.2 An incumbent will be elected during the conference.
12.10.3 The main task is giving direction (AZAZI ZONKE IZINDABA ZEBANDLA)
12.10.4 Ensure discipline, ensuring every members wears a uniform
12.10.5 Work harmoniously with the Priest/UMFUNDISI
12.10.6 He reports to the Parish Priest/Reverend
13. MEETINGS
13.1 There will be ELECTIVE CONFERENCE every FIVE (5) years for the Board
13.2 The Board SECRETARY GENERAL will issue a notice to this meeting (3) months before
13.3 Board of Governors Working Committee will meet every months.
13.4 On notice issued by the secretary seven days (7) before the meeting
13.5 Provincial Committee meeting once in (4) four months
13.6 Provincial Working Committee meet every (3) months
13.7 Parish Council meet every (3) months
13.8 Parish Working Committee (MANCO) meet every months
14. THE QUORUMS

15. DECISIONS
15.1 To try to reach decisions by consensus at all times.
15.2 Voting will be a show of hands
15.3 The Board of Governors can establish sub -committee of which terms of reference will be specific and agreed by commissioning body
16. WOMAN’S UNION
Membership shall be open to women who are members of the CHURCH and it has the same basic structures, namely, national, provincial and Parish structures. Its objectives are to defend and advance the rights of women, both inside and outside the CHURCH, against all forms of national, social and gender oppression and to ensure that women play a full role in the life of the CHURCH. WOMAN’S UNION shall function as semi-autonomous body within the overall structure of the CHURCH, of which it shall be an integral part, with its own Constitution, rules and regulations, provided that these shall not be in conflict with the Constitution and policies of the CHURCH. Woman’s Union shall send two delegates to the CHURCH structures.
17. ABASHA/ YOUTH MINISTRY
Membership shall be open to all persons between the ages of 14 (fourteen) and 35 (thirty five) years. It operates on a national, provincial and Parish basis. Its objectives are to unite and lead young men and women in confronting and dealing with the problems that face the youth and to ensure that the youth make a full and rich contribution to the work of the CHURCH. ABASHA shall function as a semi- autonomous body within the overall structure of the CHURCH, of which it shall be an integral part, with its own Constitution, rules and regulations, provided that

these shall not be in conflict with the Constitution and policies of the CHURCH. Members ABASHA over the age of 18 (eighteen) are expected to play a full part in the general life of the CHURCH. A member of ABASHA shall not be eligible for election to any position as office-bearer of the CHURCH. ABASHA will send two delegates to CHURCH Structures
18. MEMBERSHIP AND TERMINATION
18.1 The nature of the organization is voluntary. The membership fee shall be determined by Board of Governors and donations will be welcomed
18.2 Members must obey the rules, never to denigrate the church or its leadership
18.3 Anyone found to be in violation of the rules, will be called to Disciplinary Committee and his side be heard before dismissal should it warrants
18.4 Any decision can be appealed to the Board of Governors within 21 days.
18.5 The final decision shall be made by the Trustee
19. THE CHURCH AND MONIES
19.1 The church will raise monies or donations which will be kept in a recognized banking institutions
19.2 The Treasurer, the secretary, chairperson or bishop will have signing powers
19.3 Any two of the above signatures will render transaction regular
19.4 The financial year end of the organization shall be 31 March of every year
19.5 The book keeping will be done internally and can be audited externally.
19.6 The church can invest and borrow monies on its rights
19.7 The church will keep a record of all assets on its name
19.8 Members may be re-imbursed for expenses incurred during the course of doing work if funds permits

21. CHANGING OF THE CONSTITUTION
* The constitution can be changed by a resolution taken at official meeting of this church.* Constitution must be agreed upon and passed by not less than two thirds of the
Members who are at Conference. * Members must vote at this meeting to change the constitution A written notice must go out not less than fourteen days (14) days before the meetingAt which changes to the constitution are going to be proposed.
22. DISSOLVING THE ORGANISATION

Under the severe circumstances, will the organization be dissolved? The Trustee will issue notice to the effect that the organization will closed down The Board of Governors will meet to discuss the circumstances around this issue The Board will issue a notice to all media and church branches The branches will hold meetings in their local churches to discuss the matter. A meeting of all branches will be called to a one day winding up Conference If unanimous decisions is taken to wind off the organization up, all assets and properties
will be donated to other churches with similar aims and objectives All creditors and debtors will be taken care of, before properties and assets are
disposed off. The two thirds majority will be required to close the organization down. Members present
at the meeting must vote to close down the organization
