CONSERVATION OF WATER
Statistics40% do not have sufficient water for adequate
living and hygiene.More than 2.2million people die each year from
diseases related to contaminated drinking water.India with 16% of world’s population has only 4%
of the fresh water resources.Two out of every three people on earth will have to
live in water stressed condition by the year 2025.
With per capita availability of water depleting at a faster pace , the
government has approved a proposal to declare 2013 as Water
Conservation Year.
