Now we are going to create a7 Art ElementsConsensus Pie

Consensus Pie

For this activityyou will

work togetherin groups of 3 or 4…

…if you are only 1 or 2

at your table, move to

another table that doesn’t

already have 4.

Each group will need:• a large sheet of newsprint paper

• different colored markers for each group member

Each member of the group…

…select one marker (each membershould have

a different color)

First person in the group…

…draw a large circle that fills up

most of the paper,

Second person in the group …

…draw a medium size

circle in the middle

of the paper

Third person in the group …

… draw a vertical line that radiates

from the edges of the

inside circleand

divides the large circle

into 2 halves.

Fourth person in the group …

…draw a horizontal line that radiates

from the edges of the inside circle

and divides the large circle into fourths.

If there are only 3 member of your group, divide the pie into 3 slices.

In the next step you will be writing a silent list…

…you will have time after this stepsto discuss your answers

with the other members of your group…
