• The map does not rotate automatically when I rotate the phone?• The compass needs to be activated from the Maps application

• The compass must be also calibrated by rotating the device until the compass icon turns green
• Map rotation takes some time, try turning the phone more slowly
• The compass cannot be used to rotate the map when a charger is connected
• External interference can also affect the compass, for example standing near electrical cables or on top of metal surface

Troubleshooting (Compass)
• I cannot get the compass to calibrate (compass icon remains yellow)?
• During compass calibration the phone senses changes in the magnetic field while you move the phone around
• Try moving the phone more slowly during calibration
• Try making larger movements with your hand (trace a figure ”8” in the air)
• The compass is not working when connected to a charger• This is intentional
• Battery charging creates interference for compass operation - compass is turned off during battery charging
• The compass does not work when I am riding my bicycle or motorcycle
• Compass accuracy may be affected by metal objects
• The compass is intended to be used for pedestrian (walk) navigation and tracking only
