Reviewing Promotion Decisions
Ongoing Australian Public Service (APS) employees who are unsuccessful in applying for apromotion may apply to the to have the promotion decisionMerit Protection Commissionerreviewed by a Promotion Review Committee. Successful applicants whose promotion has nottaken effect can also apply for a promotion review.
Ongoing Parliamentary Service employees who have applied for a job in the APS at a higherclassification level can also apply for a promotion review, or may be subject to an application forpromotion review from an APS employee.
A promotion review can only be conducted for promotions to APS Level 1 to APS Level 6 (orequivalent) classifications. A Promotion Review Committee cannot review promotions to jobs atthe Executive Level 1 and Executive Level 2 (or higher) classifications. However, Executive Levelpromotions may be subject to a if there is a serious defect in the process.review of action
Promotion decisions cannot be reviewed if they are based on the recommendation of anIndependent Selection Advisory Committee or a decision of a Promotion Review Committee.

The Shared Services Transformation Initiative (SSTI) will continue cross-agency development of acommon enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, referred to as GovERP.
Duties
About the Role:
The Director will lead the On-Boarding stream as part of a renewed focus in the program in orderto act as the business case custodian and deliver the transition plan, cost model and pricingmodels.
Engaging collaboratively with staff within the SSTG and across client Agencies, the Director willmanage the On-Boarding of Government Agencies to the GovERP platform.
The role will require the Director to undertake the following activity/tasks:
To provide leadership and direction in the provision of client services;Dispute resolution;Manage highly complex and sensitive stakeholder relationships;Lead and manage change while building capability of others and self;Analyse performance and take responsibility for continuous improvement processes;Develop service standards and strategies;Oversee the preparation of documentation;Manage policy change to ensure a high level of customer service.

This is pivotal role in the transformation of ERP services to provide effective and collaborativechange strategy and processes that support and guide the transformation of services delivered bythe Hubs for the entire Australian Government.
The role will:
Successfully design, implement and deliver the change strategy and communicationsstrategy and plans for SSTG;Lead the ‘positive’ change initiative, providing direction, support and feedback, listening toissues and providing options for resolution;Engage with stakeholders across the Australian Government to provide timely, appropriateand focused communications and stakeholder engagement;Work with other contracted service providers to design and deliver key messages andcommunications, support materials, knowledge-base, guidance and training materials; andIdentify, measure and respond to organisational implications and outcomes of the change.
Who we are looking for:
Clarity of communication, collaboration and influencing positive outcomes are the hallmarks of thisrole. The successful candidate will be comfortable working under pressure, yet engagingconstructively and broadly across government to deliver outstanding results. Well versed in change management and communications, this leader will have both a strategic and practicaldelivery focus.
