• Only 8 libraries mentioned “Film studies” as one of fields for which Korean Films are used

• Film is not only used for films studies; broadly used by other subject fields

• Language / Literature / History / Cultural studies / Anthropology / Sociology / Political Science / International Relations / Media Studies / East Asian Film series

Genre

• Most show preference toward South Korean feature film (“Korean wave”)

• Some libraries choose genres selectively such as documentaries only, or North Korean films only

• Collaborative work: Korean language specialist gives assistance to Media librarian

• Division of Labor: Original cataloging is done by the Korean subject specialist and copy cataloging by the media librarian
