CNMS HEADLINES
Castle North Middle School’s Student Council is very
excited to announce that we will be sponsoring our an-
nual school-wide 3K walk/run event in order to promote
making healthy choices on Tuesday, May 18,
2021. During our event, we will inspire our students,
staff, and their families to develop lifelong and healthy
habits. Our 3K event is an exciting and fun-filled day of
exercise and fitness education where CNMS and the
community come together to consider current choices
we are making and how we can make better choices to
improve our overall health.
However, this cannot happen without help from our
community. Although we are in need of donations of all
kinds, we are in great need of financial donations for t-
shirts. Every year, we provide each student and staff
member with a shirt that each person wears the day of
our event. We are very proud of the unity we have to-
ward evaluating our personal choices and helping each
other form goals of making healthier choices. Students
continue to wear these shirts throughout the year both in
school and in the community. While we are very appre-
ciative of the funding we have received so far, we are
still in need of much funding to provide these shirts. As
a result, we are asking our community members and
families to please continue to help us with this. Any do-
nation toward our efforts would help immensely and be
much appreciated. If your business or your family would
be willing to make a donation of $300 or more, we will
place your business name or family name on the back
of each shirt as a way of showing our appreciation for
your generosity. (In order for us to place your compa-
ny’s or family’s name on our shirts, we will need t-shirt
donations by April 14th.)
We also are in need of donations for bottled water, fro-
zen fruit pops, door prizes, and awards.
The CNMS Student Council would like to thank Koch
Foundation, Talley Eye Institute, Bayer’s Plumbing,
Cook Orthodontics, Cabinets and Counters, Myofas-
cial Therapy and Wellness, Dr. David Hazelrigg, and
Just for Kids Dentistry for their generous contribu-
tions. If you would be willing to offer assistance, please
contact Ms. Killebrew ([email protected]) or
Mrs.Bourgeois ([email protected]).
