» Receive approval to live off campus from the Office of
Residence Life
» Turn your key in to Public Safety
» Check out with your RA and complete your RCR
Failure to move out properly will result in a $100 fine. Full
spring term fees will be assessed after January 5, 2015 for
all students who do not adhere to the above conditions.
If you are leaving Millikin, please see the Registrar’s Office
for official withdrawal information.

It’s not too early to start thinking about your housing for the 2015-2016 academic year!
Remember, all students are required to live in campus approved housing, unless they have been approved by the Office of Residence Life.
DATES TO REMEMBER:
The Woods at Millikin, the ultimate home for sophomores,
juniors, and seniors provides amenitites that allow
residents to stay healthy and active all year long. The full
size kitchen in each apartment allows residents to prepare
their own meals. The array of unmatched amenities such as
a fitness center, tanning bed, resort-style pool, clubhouse,
modern security technology and other features make The
Woods Millikin’s ultimate home.

Attend one of the informational sessions on February 2
or February 3. Keep an eye on your e-mail for more
information about staff selection.
COMING BACKIf you are a returning student, please complete the check-
out with your RA by making an appointment with them
and completing the check-out form. Failure to check out
properly will result in a $100 fine.

We will close the residence halls during the holiday
break. All residents must vacate no later than Friday,
December 19 at 5pm or 24 hours after the resident’s
last final exam, whichever is earlier.
The residence halls will re-open on Sunday, January 18,
2015 at 8 a.m.
» If you are enrolled in an immersion course, part of
an athletic team, or involved in other academic or
co-curricular programs, please contact the Office of
Residence Life by December 1, 2014 to arrange for
temporary housing. Students who are approved to stay
on campus during the break will stay in Walker Hall.
» If you are not enrolled in a course or part of an
academic or co-curricular program taking place during
the immersion period, you may choose to live on campus
for $18/day.
Please contact your RA with any questions regarding your
belongings. The University cannot be held responsible for
the items left in buildings over the break. Students should
consider taking valuables like jewelry and electronics
home with them over the break.
QUIET HOURSBeginning on Sunday, December 14, all residence halls will
observe 24 hour quiet hours to support students as they
study for final exams. Violation of 24 hour quiet hours will
be met with a monetary fine and student conduct action.
There will be a one hour non-quiet period each evening.
Your RA will notify you of your hall’s non-quiet time.
MAIL SERVICEThe University Mailroom forwards all student mail to
the home address listed in the campus directory. If an
address change is necessary, you must contact Mail
Services prior to leaving campus.
Don’t forget! The halls are closed from December 19, 2014 through January 18, 2015. Only approved students may stay in temporary housing over the break period.
REMEMBER TO:» Disconnect all electrical appliances, including
aquariums (please take all your fish home)
» Clean your microfridge or refridgerator (defrost, dry,
unplug, and prop door open)
» Pull up your blinds
» Clean your room and empty all trash
» Take plants home
» Take valuables home
» Take down all holiday decorations
» Turn off all lights
» Lock your door
» Take the Student Satisfaction Survey!
» LLC Students: Take the LLC Survey!
» Complete check out form with RA!
Energy will be conserved in all buildings over the break. Fish and plants need to be taken home!
