●She appoints ministers
●She opens and closes parliament (whit ministers advince)
●She signs laws and gives the Royal assent
●The Queen applies laws, declares war, makes peace, signs treaties, awards honours to man and woman who have performed some service for the country.

● They are not elected by people.
● They can't vote.
● They are temporal lords ( dukes,viscount,earl or marquises)and spiritual (archbishop and bishop) .

● Everyone who is over 18 can vote for House of commons;
● The queen and members of the house lords can't vote.
● There is a general election every five years.
