SEATON FAITHFELLOWSHIP CHURCH

It was a great day in the Houseof the Lord. The church family isthankful for the protective Hand ofGod. This has been witnessed andverified that God was present witha couple of our members, keepingthem safe. The Pastor continuedher message from last Sunday,"Whom do ye say that I am," withthis same question being asked--then the scripture answers and ver-

ifies that Jesus is the Son of God,"Saviour." So this was the topic oftoday. Sin came to the Garden, where Adam and Eve fell in temp-tation. A Saviour was needed tobring reconciliation between Godand Man. Jesus was sent by GodAlmighty to pay the great sacrificethat man might have eternal life inheaven. Mt. 6:24 tells us that mancannot serve two masters. You ei-ther serve God, or you serve Mam-mon. (which means, anything atall). Also, we are told that "No oneknows the day nor the hour" thatthe Rapture could take place. TheSigns of the time are everywhere,in the heavens, on the earth, in per-sonal relationships and of course, with Nations standing against Is-

rael. Are you waiting, are youwatching? A letter to the church, written by Dillon McKinnon, wasshared with the church body. It isalways good to hear from him.

Wednesday mornings BibleStudy at 9:00. Also on October 04,10:00 a.m. Seaton's 20th year cele-bration, with a special speaker andspecial singers. Dinner followingthe service. For more information, please call (573-759-2904) AThank You to all those who havebeen laboring hard; No job done isunappreciative.

SANTEE CHURCH

Our sermon today was, “DryBones, Dry Bones,” (Ezekiel 37:1-14). Ezekiel says, “The hand of theLord was upon me, and he broughtme out by the Spirit of the Lord andset me in the middle of a valley; itwas full of bones. He led me backand forth among them, and I saw agreat many bones on the floor ofthe valley, bones that were very dry(Ezekiel 37:1-2). These dry bonesrepresent our world today with thespiritually lost. These bones with-out breath represent dead churches. Many Christians look spiritual butin reality, they are lifeless. Theynever go out witnessing and theydo not use their talents or abilitiesfor God. God wants to breathe lifeinto dead churches. Throughout theBible breath and wind represent theHoly Spirit. When the Holy Spiritbreathes on you, suddenly youcome alive. The church is called tobe an army. God’s army is full of

God Bless!FREEDOM CHURCH

Freedom Church is a nondenom-inational, Bible-based church. Wewelcome all to join us in worshipand fellowship. We meet each Sun-day morning at 11:00 a.m. Afterworship service we join in fellow-ship.

We do practice social distancingand we invite those who wish towear masks. The church building islocated at 105 West Second Streetbetween Maries County Bank andTri-County Hardware.

Our opening song was “CloseTo The Heart of God.” A memberof the congregation opened theservice with prayer. We affirmedour faith through the reading of theApostles' Creed. The whole con-gregation than prayed the Lord'sPrayer.

Music worship consisted of“Sweet Hour of Prayer,” “I WouldNot Be Denied,” and “On Jordan'sStormy Banks.” After the music wehad prayer. We prayed for all thosein need whatever the need be itspiritual needs, sickness, lost lovedones, the West Coast fires after-math, or the needs of our commu-nity, nation , and world. We prayedfor our brothers and sisters inChrist here and around the world.

The message was based onPsalm 58 with references ofDeuteronomy 32, Isaiah 63:1-4,Matthew 11:16-19, Matthew 13:10-16, John 12:42-43, Acts 2, andRomans 2:1-11. Again we see theparallel between David and Jesus. How the elders of their day did notstand up for them. The elders, forfear of Saul, did not support Davidwhen Saul unjustly attempted tokill him time and time again. Theelders and members of the San-hedrin who believed Jesus wouldnot speak up for fear of the Phar-isees. The Psalm concludes with asurety that God will judge thewicked and the righteous.

Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God believe also inMe. John.14:1
