Tourism• Nandi Hills: About 4850 ft. above sea level. Rich in greenery
and natures paradise. One of the hot spots for tourists, trekkers and campers alike.
• Tippu’s Summer Residence: Also known as Tashk-e-Jannat (Heaven’s Envy), a beautiful palace resembling the Dariya Daulat at Srirangapatna was built in 1791 on top of Nandi Hills. The fort has five arches with minarets owing the art and architecture of Tippu’s regime.
• Ranganatha Swamy temple: It is locally known as Rangasthala and is 5 Km west of downtown Chikkaballapur.
• Gauribidanur Taluk Viduraswatha Temple: About 5k.m from Gauribidanur Town. And Minakanagurki Temple is about 20 k.m. from Gauribidanaur.
• Amara Narayanaswamy Temple, Narayanappa general is called as Kaiwara Thatayya,, Kailasagiri Temple is located at Kaiwara is about 15 km. from Chintamani and 60 km from Bangalore.
• Sree Venkataramanaswamy temple at Gadadam in Bagepalli Taluk.
• Famous Darga at Murugamalla ,Chintamani Taluk.
• Lake, Temple and Old Fort at Kumanayakanahalli,Bagepalli Taluk.
• Muddenahalli: It is the birth place of Sir.M.Visweswaraih, one of the India’s most accomplished engineers. There is a beautiful and picturesque memorial of Sir M. V. located on the family-owned land at Muddenahalli, with the Nandi Hills as a backdrop.
