Changing Brushes G2K Style Motors

The FIRST step is to ...

Unplug the motor!

Removing cooling fan cover

Remove/loosen Brush clamp screws.

Removing old Brush Clip mech.

Be sure positioning tab of new brush mech...

….is placed in slot on bracket.

Reassemble Brush Clamp

Clamp terminal connects with field terminal

Install clamp screws and seat the brushes.

Remember….

Don’t over tighten thescrews!!!
