What does a Chalk Twins Performance Entail? Part 1

The Chalk Twins select a piece they will draw live during the length of the showThe piece is up to 100 sq. ft. (30 sq. mtr.) depending on the available space, length of the show and complexity of the pieceThe piece is outlined before the show on pieces of hardboard that can be placed on the floor at the hotel or convention centerThere is no fuss or muss. No residual chalk. No cleanup. Fine for hotels or convention centers

What does a Chalk Twins Performance Entail? Part 2

Some of the piece is completed before the show so even the attendees that walk in early on the first day will see a portion of the piece already in processFor 10+ hours per day the Chalk Twins work on the piece. During this time they also interact with people. They answer questions, talk about anime, art, twin stuff, all while drawing. The Chalk Twins are one of the hardest working guests you’ll seeAt the end of the show the piece is sold to the highest bidder of a silent auction. A portion of the proceeds goes to charity

What do the Chalk Twins Require?

Usually nothing more is required than an indoor floor space in a common area – 10’ x 20’ is adequate for most shows. The space can be an island or against a single wall

While the Chalk Twins travel with their own display pieces and materials a table is required for them to display items for sale - prints of previous pieces and chalk art starter kits

Scheduling is not required as the Chalk Twins work almost non-stop through the entire convention
