Goals and Requirements of Certificate
Encourage students to combine business foreign language skills, area studies knowledge with international business classes to prepare for international careers.
Certificate is comprised of four components with a total of five semester courses and an international experience.
Two International Business Courses
BADM 380, International Business BADM 381, Multinational Management, BADM 382, International Marketing BADM 436, International Business Immersion
Program (IBIP) must get accepted to program
Students in the certificate program will getspecial permission from the Business Administration department to enroll in these courses

Area Studies Courses
A wide range of topics available for area study courses:
art, culture, economics, geography, history
Area focus should correspond to foreign language and overseas experience.
International Experience
Study abroad program or an international internship for at least six weeks.
Eligible for travel grants from Illinois CIBER

Make an appointment with Lynnea Johnson to register for program
Complete all the requirements for the certificates
Check in each semester and 2 months before graduation
