Feedback Summary
General Comments• In Favor:
– “Nice and clean.”– “Brighter and catches
the viewers attention.” – “Love the new one
with the grapes!”
• Not In Favor:– “Doesn’t represent
physical activity.”– Dislike for acronym– Dislike for grapes
Explanation of Decision
• The new logo was overwhelmingly favored in comparison to old by Collaborative members.
• In response to several members’ concerns:– It is nearly impossible to achieve professionalism and
size-ability in a logo that reflects both nutrition and physical activity
– Grapes are the fruit most representative of the Central Valley- Raisin Capital of the World!
– Acronyms are the best way to promote accuracy and easy recall for a long and complicated organization name.
Evaluating the New Logo
• Fresh and crisp• Professional• Colorful• Sizeable• Recognizable and identifiable• Representative of Central Valley roots• “CVHNC” acronym promotes accuracy• Color scheme and design produce new
opportunities
