The Committee on Staff Parish Relations and Board of Trustees announce that Marcellus Chaplin has decided to retire as Sexton of Central Church effective immediately. In order to properly thank Marcellus for his many years of service to Central, we will receive a love offering to be presented to him. He will be recognized during each worship service on Sunday, June 4. Gifts may be received via the offering plate and the church office up to Wednesday, May 31st. After that date, cash only will be received. Our entire church family wishes Marcellus a wonderful and restful time following years of faithful service and ministry. Your support and understanding of this decision is most appreciated for the life of Central UMC.
