C a s t I r o n S i n k
Make sure to r inse the s ink & dry i t thoroughly after each use.
Use non-abrasive c leaners to c lean the s ink. Microf iber c loths & scrubbing brushes work wel l . Avoid using steel wool , wire brushes, & abrasive sponges.
Avoid leaving i tems that could stain the s ink such as berr ies , tea bags, coffee grounds, etc . for extended periods of t ime.
Don’t leave pots & pans in the s ink for too long as they could leave scuff marks.
I t is recommended to use a rubber mat in the s ink to avoid scratches & permanent damage to the bottom of the s ink basin.
Avoid further scratches & dents by ut i l iz ing a bottom basin rack to prevent stains & scratching.
Simple dish soap and warm water wi l l work wel l to c lean the s ink and ensure i t remains spotless.
For harder to c lean stains , use white vinegar on a microf iber c loth and rub down the s ink. This wi l l help get r id of those persistent stains.
Baking soda can be used for heavy duty c leaning.
Don’t leave metals in the s ink for very long as they can rust and stain the enamel .
