4 Camelot Beachtournament
WelcomeDear Beach Handball friends,
I would like to welcome you to our third annual tournament in Tilburg. The last two editions were won by Ekaterinodar (men) and Camelot (women). After this weekend we are going to see which teams are going home with the 2012's champions trophies: can the guys from Russia and the Tilburg ladies defend their title?
The tournament is growing every year and this year we've reached our maximum capacity. This means that we have to search for a new accommodation next year. So maybe this is the last tournament at the current location. A full program off course we have to ask for your patience at some times. We tried to make a proper schedule for every team, but there are teams who will play a lot of matches in a day. All things considered we are sure have set up a great tournament for everybody.
The sleeping accommodation this year was a big challenge. The renovation project of last years student housing wasn't finished yet so we had to search for another solution. This was found at the community centre 'In de Boomtak' and "The watertower". unfortunateley all teams sleep in one big room and showering is only possible at the Sports Center. I would like to ask all the teams to take everybody in consideration and be quiet inside the sleeping accommodation. Probably other participants want to sleep.
I would like to thank our volunteers. They do all the work and make the tournament a success. secondly I would like to thank all our sponsors. without them we weren't able to organize a tournament like this.
The last thing I want to do is to thank all the participants for joining our tournament. I wish all the teams good luck and me the best teams win.

About TSHV Camelot
Camelot Handball is the student handball association connected to Tilburg University. We are a club founded by and for students, who like playing handball next to their studies. Everybody is welcome: experienced or beginning handball players.
Fair play is our playing style, which makes us a positive and fun opponent to play against. Our womens team plays in the local indoor handball competition, whith ambition to make promotion to a higher league. The mens team played succesfully in the local competition, but unfortunately had to stop because of lack of players. With enough new players, it's certainly the plan to make a comeback. Next to this, we also play in student tournaments throughout the year.
In "summer", but also long before that we exchange the indoor courts for the sand. We are very active with playing, training, breathing, dreaming beach handball. We train at least three time in the week and we visit numerous tournaments around Europe. We, for instance, played in Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Spain, and Greece. Our best achievements so far, is reaching the EBT masters in Greece in 2009 and in Portugal in 2012. Our ambition is to repeat this performance with both men and women. We are raigning Dutch Beach Handball champions with both our men and womens team.
Camelot is not only handball, but also sociability. We organize numerous activities and have periodic drinks in Kaffee Lambiek our sponsor bar.

We introduce them to the latest scientific insights, constantly challenging them to get the best out of themselves. City of Tilburg
Tilburg has to be seen in person. Visit the city, walk around, be amazed by the varied architecture, art, culture, music, street bars, shops and open spaces. Meet the people: "the jovial Brabander" and the bright, creative youngsters who represent the future of our city. You will certainly see plenty of students since they make up almost a fifth of the city's population. They add colour to the city centre and make an enormous contribution to the culture and atmosphere of the city.
Tilburg is not a particularly large city by world standards, although it is home to over two hundred thousand people. The city nestles in a particularly green and varied setting, and one can travel from the bustling city centre into the peace and quiet of the countryside in practically no time at all. A visit to Tilburg can easily be combined with a few hours at one of the nearby attractions, which include the Beekse Bergen Safari Park and the magical De Efteling theme park. The other major cities of Noord-Brabant - Eindhoven, Breda and Den Bosch - are also within easy reach.
