“Love and Care Mission” (LCM) is a not-for-profit, Catholic organiza on based in New York, helping the poor and needy worldwide. LCM was founded by priests and lay people with a vision to answer the call of God to serve the poor and the needy. The founding directors have been in min-istry for many years. LCM is commi ed to alleviate the sufferings of the poorest of the poor and needy in the developing world. LCM currently has projects in India, Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana (Africa). We help 14 dioceses now. LCM seeks to serve in the following ways: 1. HIV/AIDS PROGRAM: LCM supports the HIV/AIDS children at Bangalore/at
Tu corin run by the Franciscan Sisters and Gramodhaya, a nonprofit organi-za on which serves hundreds of HIV/AIDS affected families
2. MENTALLY CHALLENGED WOMEN & CHILDREN PROGRAM: LCM supports programs at St. Joseph’s Charity Home and Coimbatore Projects which reach out to mentally challenged women and children
3. FEEDING ORPHAN CHILDREN PROGRAMS: LCM supports 12 orphanages in 11 dioceses
4. PROGRAM FOR THE STREET CHILDREN: LCM supports two projects that helps street children
5. TRIBAL CHILDREN: LCM provides educa on to tribal children in India & Afri-ca
6. LEPROSORIUM PROGRAM: LCM supports people with Leprosy in Nigeria and India
7. POOR CHILDREN EDUCATION PROGRAM: LCM provides school fees, school supplies, and clothing to school children
8. EVENING STUDY CENTERS: LCM provides space for students whose houses have no electricity and no space. Teachers are available to give assistance to students whose parents are uneducated. These centers have proven to be highly beneficial to poor students enabling them to stay in school.
9. PROGRAMS FOR THE AGED: LCM provides services such as nursing care, supplies of medicine, food, clothing and emo onal and spiritual support
10. DRINKING WATER PROJECTS: LCM provides safe drinking water to schools and villagers by digging borewells and building water tanks
11. SEMINARIAN SUPPORT: LCM supports voca ons by helping the seminari-ans with their studies
