HELLO FROM THE PRINCIPAL!
Dear Parents/Caregivers,
Our “Wheel and Walk” has really grown legs (literally!) and we are pleased to see so many kids walking and wheeling their way to school each morning. Thanks to all the parents who are making use of our drop off point at the Wairere Road roundabout. This initiative is here to stay, as we will need to make some significant changes to our drop off system once our rebuild starts and the school carpark is no longer able to be used.
On Tuesday we will bid our Year 5/6 campers goodbye, as they head off to Lakewood Lodge for their school camp. We are sure they will have a fantastic time! Particular thanks to the parent helpers who are attending camp and to Miss Delany and Mrs Pearson for their organisation.
Our school athletics days are coming up shortly and we hope to see you there if you can make it. If you are able to help at the Junior Athletics on Friday 31st, please contact Mr Whatman directly.
A reminder that all students need their school hats this term. If they do not have a school hat, please send along a note and spare hat for your child to wear until temporarily, until they have their school hat. Hats can be purchased at our school uniform shop, contact the office for more info.
Enjoy the extra day off on Monday, lets hope the sun stays out for the whole weekend!
