TESTIMONIALS“The exchange program in ESSCA Budapest has given me the opportunityto immerse myself in a different mode of study in a completely differentenvironment. It helped me to further my holistic understanding of the
business practice as I was exposed to working in a uniquelyglobal setting, building real business experience, a sense ofteamwork, and developing practical skills in a risk-freeenvironment. I was able to make full use of my skills in leadership,
business, and cultural understanding to not only broaden my outlook invarious professional fields but also taught me to share this growth anddevelopment with others.”
- Erika Pangan, Track 2 (MBA Standard Program)
The summer program in Budapest left a remarkable memory in me. The experience
was absolutely great. I got to meet new friends and learn about their cultures. Ourclass was the best! Having great teachers and classmates aroundmade school bearable and so much fun and enjoyable. We may havedifferent views on some things, but we always work as one. We’ve
developed family and friendship that we will forever treasure. Certainly, everything isworth the experience and Budapest will always be a home for me.
- Carol Muyano, Track 2 (MBA Standard Program)
Going on the student program at Budapest was one of the most enriching experiences I’ve
had. I came away with so many insights about myself as a person, as aleader, and as part of a team that I never otherwise would have learnedelsewhere. The field trips to the different companies such as Huawei, Deloitte and other big-
name institutions provided valuable exposure on how to do business cross-country.
- Cats Peñaranda, Track 1 (MBA Middle Managers Program)
Being an exchange student is a rewarding and fulfilling experience. It gave me a
global perspective on a lot of topics particularly on approaching leadership in
humanistic way, understanding global issues and the differences of Asian andEuropean businesses. The diversity of our class allowed me to learn other
cultures and gained new friendships that I will cherish for life. The experiencealso developed my self-confidence and maturity in approachingchallenging things outside my familiar support network andcomfort zone. And the fun part for me as a traveler, I get to explore beautiful
places in Europe and experience its culture! :)
- Carlos Balingit, Track 1 (MBA Regis Program)
ESSCA in Budapest is definitely one of the highlights of my 2019. Having a mix of different
nationalities in class makes the AGSB students internationally exposed. You’ll be able tounderstand differences in perspectives, and you get to respect others. Go to
Buda Castle to get a nice view of the city. Take long walks on bridges at night. Invite yourforeign classmates to your weekend trips to make your bonding more solid. Budapest isdefinitely one of the best places in Europe to live in!
- Kim Salvador, Track 2 (MBA Standard Program)
The one-month exchange program in Budapest was by far the best summer I'vehad in my whole academic life. Having an intercultural class mix made the class
discussions very dynamic. Lessons were very practical and deviatedfrom textbook discussions. We also had a lot of "fieldtrips" aka exclusive
access to workspaces of some of the biggest companies in the world such asDeloitte and Huawei. More than the knowledge from the two classes I took in
ESSCA, I also gained a lot of valuable experiences from livingabroad for one month. It made me more independent andconfident. I also gained friends from all over the world. This exchange program
truly showed me how wonderful and big this world is. Would have not spentmy summer any other way.
