A HIGH-POTENTIAL TARGET MARKETMorocco : a strategic choiceThe Moroccan economy is, now, one of the most dynamic in the North
African, African and Arab regions.
The economic growth sustained 5% and should remain so in the
upcoming years, despite the global economic crisis.
The industry with 30% is among the main contributors to the GDP of the
kingdom in 2015.
The index of manufacturing production registered an increase of 0,9 %
during the first quarter 2014 compared to the same period of 2013. This
is due in particular to the increase of the production of the oil refining
(18,2 %), of the car industry (9,2 %), products of the metal work (2,5 %),
diverse industries (6,8 %), of textile industry (5,7 %), metallic products
(3,5 %), and other transportation equipment (6,1 %).*
A regional economic hub between Europe and Africa The geographical position of Morocco between Europe and Africa has made Morocco an ideal location to attract visitors looking for solutions to their search for partnerships in new markets.
Free trade agreements with the EU, the USA, other North African countries, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the WAEMU, Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan; creating a market with a billion consumers.
The rising level of technology and the way new problems are being addressed (respect for the environment, reduction in energy consumption, cost controls, etc.) are pushing manufacturers to invest in higher and higher performance installations.

facilities dedicated to the shipbuilding industry on the horizon 2030 will allow the creation about 6000 direct jobs. He will mobilize an

The Moroccan Solar Plan focuses on the production of 2000 MW by the horizon of 2020, approximately 14% of Morocco’s energy needs.
Launched in 2010, for an investment of $ 3.5 billion, the Moroccan
Program for Integrated Wind Energy aims to: increase the wind power generation of 280 MW currently to
2000 MWby 2020 and ensure
14% of total consumptionof wind energy in 2020.

The Moroccan economy is, now, one of the most dynamic in the Maghreb and
African regions. The economic will benefit from an expected acceleration, a
predicted growth rate of 4,8%.
The industry contribute nearly 30% of GDP and employs one fifth of the working
population (in 2016). It consists mainly of textiles, leather goods, food
processing, petroleum refining and electronic assembly. New sectors are still
growing: chemistry, automotive equipment, computers, electronics, and the
aeronautics industry.
The production index of manufacturing industries excluding petroleum refining
registered an increase of 0,2 % during the third quarter 2016 compared to the
same period in 2015. This is due in particular to the increase of the "chemical
industries" of 2.9%, of the car industry of 12.8%, other transportation equipment

pavilion regrouping 34 companies. This exhibition is now
a must and also a reference in the Maghreb for industrial
supply in the following sectors: sheet metal, plastics,
machine tools, electronics. The Moroccan market confirms
its changing status with a booming industrial sector which
remains strong. More and more French exhibitors take
the initiative to penetrate the local market with a desire to
enter sub-Saharan African markets. In general this edition
is the best since 2009 with very abundant and professional
visitors, and the appointments are already taken for 2016 !
