The role of various officers varies with the traditions of specific
organizations
Some roles have been handed down through group culture and may not
be universal to other groups
Some duties may be specified by group/board bylaws and may be
different than other bodies
To be clear and enforceable, duties should be listed in bylaws or
officer job descriptions specified in the bylaws
