Rocket Separation Update
Started Rocket Separation: March 26, 2014
Completion date: May 13, 2014
Status: 42 of the planned 44 rockets were separated One sample from each of BGCA’s 19 unique propellant lots The U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering
Center (ARDEC) will receive 23 for propellant testing. Shipment is scheduled for June 2014.
The remaining 19 are being stored for future testing by the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (BGCAPP).
Treaty notifications made on May 13, 2014
All representative samples of rocket motors were monitored to the General Population Limit (GPL) and found to be free of agent in accordance with DA PAM 385-61.
