A Stewardship Thought …
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son…” JOHN 3:16
Is your love conditional? Is there a price others have
to pay to receive your love? Are you generous with
your time, money and possessions? If you give some-
one something, do you expect something in return? Do
you give your time freely or do you “fit it in” when it’s
convenient for you?
This Weekend’s Scripture First Reading: Exodus 34:4b‑6, 8‑9 The Lord appears to Moses on Mount Sinai and proclaims to him that he Lord is a “merciful God...slow to anger and rich in kindness and fidelity.”
Second Reading: 2 Corinthians 13:11‑13 Paul exhorts the Corinthians to live in peace and harmony, and for the first time, invokes the Blessed Trinity.
Gospel: John 3:16‑18 In this beautiful passage, Jesus tells Nicodemus that God loved his people so much that he “gave his only son.” Jesus reveals to Nicodemus that anyone who believes in him will not die but will enjoy life with him for all eternity. ©1999 Bon Venture Services, Inc.

A Fathers Day Prayer
God our Father, We give you thanks and praise for fathers young and old.
We pray for young fathers, newly embracing their vocation; May they find courage and perseverance to
balance work, family and faith in joy and sacrifice. We pray for our own Fathers around the world
whose children are lost or suffering; May they know that the God of compassion walks with them
in their sorrow. We pray for men who are not fathers but still mentor
and guide us with fatherly love and advice. We remember fathers, grandfathers, and great
grandfathers who are no longer with us but who live forever in our memory and nourish us with their love.
Amen

News from the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Our next General Meeting will be this Monday June 16th in MDH. The start time has been rescheduled to immediately after the 7:00 mass in honor of the visita-tion of the Pilgrim Virgin of Fatima Statue. This will be our last general meeting until September and all mem-bers are encouraged to attend. We also invite anyone who would like to become involved with helping those in need within our community. Come and see what our Society is all about
Thanks to all those who came out and supported us at our hot dog sale at the borough flea market this past weekend. The funds will go a long way in helping us continue our mission.
We invite you to share in our mission. If you or someone you know is in need of assistance please contact us through the parish office. No work of charity is foreign to our society. Each new client case is confi-dentially evaluated by members of our Client Service Team. In the name of Christ we are here to help, to serve, and to bring God’s love to those who are poor and suffering. Please put us to work.
Food Pantry: All non-perishable food and toiletry items are gratefully accepted. Donations can be left in the church lobbies after any mass. Presently we are in need of soups, canned or packaged fruit, canned pas-tas such as Chef-Boyardee, jelly, canned tuna & chicken, and condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc.)
Dear OLV Parishioners!
Thank you so much for the beautiful items you donated for our Mother's Day Baby Shower! Many new moms will benefit from your gen-erosity and kindness. It's such a joy to be able to provide them with the necessary items to care for their new babies. For many, these are the only gifts they will receive. Together, we are making a real difference in the lives of God's children!
Thank You from the OLV Respect Life Group!
