Cancellation and Refund Policy: The application fee (program deposit) is non-refundable (upon application approval); students cancelling participation prior to March 6th must pay the first program fee payment of $4,000; cancellations after this date will resultin forfeiture of all anticipated or paid program charges. Students cancelling their group flight participation after January 24th areresponsible for paying (or forfeiting payment of) the entire group airfare. Name changes after ticketing for group flight participantsmay be an alternate option to cancellation and are subject to fees established by the travel agent and airline.

You must have a complete application to be considered! This includes payment of the $500 application fee & submitting your online application to OIE. Please carefully review OIE’s application instructions!

Email [email protected] once you complete your application. To ensure a spot in the 2020 program, we recommend that you apply today! A waiting list will be opened if the program reaches capacity prior to the February 15 application deadline. Priority for housing and course registration will be given to students in the order of program acceptance.

Program Charge: $7,250Includes housing (double or triple rooms with in-suite bathrooms; study space; communal kitchen; WiFi internet), health insurance, public transportation in Berlin, transportation to and from the TXL airport, and a few group meals.

In-State Tuition All students pay the current in-state tuition rate for 12 summer credit hours.

Group Airfare (optional): $1,564 ATL-JFK-TXL and TXL-JFK-ATL*Airfare & routing may change (taxes/fuel are not fixed)

Meals & TravelSet a budget for your daily meal allowance and independent travel during the breaks.

Program Overview:n 11 weeks in Berlin with long weekends for

independent traveln 60 undergraduate students from a variety of majorsn 12 hours of GT credit* with GT faculty (classes

taught in English)n Courses designed to draw from the city & one

another, with an emphasis on Berlin’s startup & entrepreneurship culture

n Housing provided at a modern, fully-furnished residence in the Kreuzberg neighborhood of Berlin

n Out-of-state students pay in-state tuitionn Most financial aid & scholarships applicable,

including HOPE and Zell Miller towards tuition

* Registration permits for courses will be issued based on the order of the student’s acceptance into the program. The maximum capacity for courses will be enforced; overload permits may be issued in exceptional circumstances. Apply early to ensure you get the courses you want.
