What is Sel-Plex?
Sel-Plex is an exclusive form of organic selenium that we use in Beaverdam Pet Food. It is scientifically proven for use in animal nutrition, with no adverseinteraction with other minerals in the diet. Many food manufacturers use Sodium Selenite, an inferior form of selenium. This ingredient is known to be toxic and have harmful health effects on pets.
Benefits of Sel-Plex• Boosts immunity in adult and
senior dogs• Promotes efficient transfer of
selenium to puppies from the mother
• Research shows benefits in reducing cancers, and the onset of Alzheimer’s
All Beaverdam Pet Food is made for pets that suffer from allergies in mind. The primary cause of allergies for dogs and cats is ingredients such as corn, wheat, and glutens, none of which are used in our food. We also exclude by-products and artificial colorings and flavorings. These ingredients can cause allergies and other harmful effects for pets. We instead, utilize real meat protein from pork and chicken in combination with naturalpreservatives. The result is a tasty and healthy food that your pets deserve.
Does your pet sufferfrom allergies?
Does your pet havedigestive issues?

In Beaverdam Pet food, we use four digestive aids (prebiotic, probiotic, chicory, Yucca) in addition tomontmorillonite clay. This ingredient binds to toxins and bacteria in your pet’s digestive tract and removes moisture. This helps prevent diarrhea and in turn, translates to a happier healthier pet.

As with any chew, treat, toy or food, there is a minimal risk. To assist you, here are some suggestions to help you in selecting
the proper bone choice for your dog that will provide a safe chewing experience.
• Always have adult supervision.• It is important to monitor your dog with the bone, and choose the
right bone for the dog. If the dog is able to quickly consume the bone, it is not the right bone for the dog. Bones should be slowly gnawed down. They are not meant to be ingested. This provides the benefits of the natural grease and marrow for healthy skin and shiny coats, as well as providing teeth cleaning by removing plaque.
• Picking a size bone: If the bone is small enough to fit in the dog’s mouth, it’s to small. Check for recommended dog sizes for each bone.
• Picking a density: Pork and lamb bones are softer and recommended for light chewers. Beef bones are more dense.
• Consumption: A bone is meant to be slowly gnawed. Always check for slivers of bone or pieces broken off. If the dog is able to remove large chunks or spikey pieces off the bone, the bone should be taken away.
• Over-aggressive chewers: If your dog is one of the over-aggressive chewers and can easily break pieces off bones, you should either:
#1 choose from the two hardest bones available: the shank bone or the knee cap #2 choose a chew such as the bully sticks.

Truman Schrock was born to a Mennonite Family in 1939 in rural Greenwood, Delaware. Raised on a farm with a total of 9 children, hard work started at an early age. Alongside his father he learned about raising crops and livestock.
In 1961 he married his wife Mary and together theypurchased “Beaverdam Farm”. They would raise 4children, along with many crops of corn, wheat andsoybeans. Barns were built, and hog production was added to their daily life.
In 1970 Truman accepted a position with FurstMcNess Company, for whom he was employed nearly 30 years, working daily with animal nutrition, feeds and supplements. During those years, concern grew for Truman about the pet food industry. Realizing that most people had no idea what ingredients and additives were going into their pet food, he began to dream.
Shortly after retiring, in 2003Truman launched BeaverdamPet Food. A private labelcompany, focusing on keeping costs down and quality high, he began with three basic lines for dog food and two cat recipes.
Over the years, improvements would continue to be made as product development grew. All naturalcookies, bones and chews were added, and in 2010a Grain free formula was introduced to the line.Honoring his father, he named it Eli’s Select.
With an ever changing pet food industry, our focusremains the same. We’re not the biggest company around. We don’t have a huge assortment of lines to pick from. You won’t find us in every store. We’re a little different, and we like that. We hope you will too!
Founder,Truman Schrock

FAMILY OWNED &OPERATED SINCE 2003
“We are blessed to have found Truman Schrock and his wonderful family that have a passion to produce the best quality food possible. We have been feeding Beaver Dam dog food since April 2010 and couldn’t be happier. Our dogs are beautiful and healthy and
we get compliments all the time.”NANCY & LEVIN
“Our 10 year old Pit, Sadie, had many allergies and skin issues and we were feeding her a 5 star Raw
food. You gave us your 5 star Eli’s Select to try and I have to say I was a bit skeptical. I put her Raw food in one bowl and your Eli’s in another and she went right
for the Eli’s and won’t touch the raw food anymore. In the short time we have been feeding her, about 2
weeks, we have seen an improvement in her skin, her eyes are brighter and she is more active.
Thank you so much for introducing us to your food.” MARTI AND SADIE
