Here’s the Sitch…
My Dear Parishioners,
Baptismal Font is still on schedule for end of January. We are on schedule with our new stained glass project. The first round should be installed this
week. There is still opportunity to be a part of this legacy for our Church. Please feel free to in-quire further! In addition, one of the large upper side entrances with “The Holy Spirit” will be sponsored in the name of our Beloved Fr. Mathew Vellankal. Please inquire at the Rectory Office.
We are in the final stages of preparing our operational budget for the coming year.
Blessings,
Fr. Ken
Jesus makes a point: you have witnessed the power I have, go and tell John what you witnessed. I am the one.
Isaiah encourages us to wait in joyful hope for Him who has that power, James in-spires us to have patience, and Thomas Aquinas says: “it is through patience that man possesses his soul.”
Let us remind ourselves that Saint Teresa of Avila prayed constantly on that: Let nothing disturb you, Let nothing frighten you, All things are passing away: God never changes. Patience obtains all things. Whoever has God lacks nothing; God alone suffices.
Let us pray then with Saint Teresa and hope to achieve the level of patience that will allow us to see Jesus for what He is, the Son of God. Blessings on this Advent.

FORMED Pick of the Week: Guadalupe: The Miracle and the Message https://watch.formed.org/videos/guadalupe-the-miracle-and-the-message
The most important event in the evangelization of the New World occurred in December, 1531. Over the course of four days, the Virgin Mary, under the title of Our Lady of Guadalupe, appeared to an indigenous convert named Juan Diego. Guadalupe: The Miracle and the Message traces the history of this transformative event from the 16th century to the present. Featuring interviews with leading theologians, historians, and experts on the scientific inquiries into the miraculous im-age, this gripping film explores both the inexplicable mysteries behind the image, and the contin-ued relevance of the Guadalupe apparition to the modern world. Narrated by Jim Caviezel.
