ALG trainingWe are able to offer our customers fully trained staffin all aspects of aviation ground services. ALG has
a fully equipped and established training centre to
ensure all candidates are aptitude tested and fullyprepared for the workforce. The aviation trainingcentre is based at Tullamarine Airport, and trainingservices are offered to customers throughoutAustralia.
The ALG recruitment processALG has a rigorous recruitment process to sourcethe right ground services employee for the right job.
Employees go through a selection process from themoment they register with us, where our experiencedrecruiters can specify the roles that each candidateis suitable for. lt is a pillar of our quality managementsystem to ensure recruitment processes arestringently followed.
1. Database search and pre-screening
The f irst part of the recruitment system is to searchon our extensive database for the right candidate forthe position. This is part of our pre-screening process
where the candidates' background is matched to theopen position.
2. Recruitment sessions
These sessions are used to pre-screen candidatesin groups to give an overview of the position, what isrequired and the safety aspects. From this point thecandidate expresses his/her interest in the position
and we give further information about the recruitmentprocess.
3. lnterviewing
lnterviews are arranged for candidates who havesuccessfully past the pre-screening stage and therecruitment session.
4. Reference checking
The candidate(s) will be reference checked againstinformation given in his/her resume.
5. Aptitude testing
Candidates would then have to pass an Aptitude Test
based on the position requirements.
6. Medical/Drug testing
All relevant medical and drug testing would then becarried out as per the requirements of the client.
7. lnductions
Inductions would be carried out for the successfulapplicants. At the conclusion of induction, thecasual employee will have a sound grasp of theirrole, behavioural expectations, performancelevels and employment contract. During inductiontheir documentation is reviewed and all relevantinformation is conf irmed.
8. Training
All candidates approved to start work will then berequired to undertake the necessary training sessionsorganised by authorised ALG trainers.
