AUSTIN REYNOLDS ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST
EXPERIENCE ENTRY LEVEL - 0
OBJECTIVE Austin is an environmental specialist and recent graduate with a diverse background in
environmental issues. Expertise range from water management and policy, phase 1 environmental
assessments, and best management practices. Courses have supplied me with a base knowledge in
local, state, and federal environmental regulations such as SARA, NEPA, and TCEQ. An
undergraduate Environmental Impact Statement detailed strong research and report writing
required within the inspection and management of the construction industry.
PROFESSIONAL
ACHIEVEMENTS
COLORADO RIVER ALLIANCE AUSTIN, TX
Internship (January 2015 – May 2015) - Sarah Woolley, 512.473.3253
Assisted with the planning, development, and management of student
educational programs. Programs teach students about water
conservation, water quality, and the geology of the Texas Colorado River.
Schools from all over the central Texas area attended, and taught me how
to work in different situations every day.
Austin lead a data analysis project visualizing the trends of how long
volunteers work, how many hours, and which part of the year.
Comparisons between each schools demographics, water knowledge,
and proximity to the CRA center. These charts helped the Alliance plan
for what they should plan for in the future, and how the students are
responding to the curriculum.
GOALS Being a productive member of a respected company full time coming out of
college, and receiving certifications in phase 1 ESA, storm water protection
planning, and environmental document preparation. Eventually getting a master ’s
degree in Environmental Management or Water Policy. In 5 – 10 years I hope to be
playing an important role in an environmental services company handling
commercial building and road way construction
