An IN BUILT Self Draining joint
This is the revolutionary RIVERCLACK patented system that really ensures the water-tightness to the roof.
The joint is characterised by a conical piece and a drainage duct which creates a rising section pipeline proportional to the water level increase.
This easily drains out water to the eaves.

RIVERCLACK sheets can self curve down to a 22 m radius, simply by fixing the system while following the curve shape of
the structure below.

Walkability
0.7 mm thickness aluminium sheets allow to walk on in any condition, without any permanent deflection even after many careless tramples.
No rigid support below is needed!
In the RIVERCLACK system, the whole joint works as a supporting beam. Its structural properties mean that it can be subjected to significantly higher stresses than any contemporary profile.
RIVERCLACK 's flat part has cross-ribbing that adds further structural strength and is also pleasing to look at.

CERTIFICATION / LABORATORYThe loading test of 0.7 mm thick aluminium was carried out by inserting a rubber layer between a piston and the metal sheets to simulate the tread of industrial footwear. Both dynamic and static - dynamic tests gave excellent results. The RIVERCLACK system is the only system of its kind that is completely safe and walkable.

WATERTIGHTNESS
DYNAMIC TEST
The test is performed through an 80 meters long wind and rain simulator. Inside it there are 80 M long Riverclack® sheets, 0.7 mm thick, exposed to extreme weather conditions, reproduced through a fan machine able to generate a 150 Km/h air stream. A sprinkler set, located every 20 cm, produces a 150 mm/h rainfall.

WATERTIGHTNESS
The test was carried out on 0.7 mm thick aluminium sheets with a 0.3% slope. After 45 days of immersion, only a small dripping from the draining joints could be seen. The inner side of the roof showed no signs of leak and the bottom was completely dry.
The RIVERCLACK system guarantees complete water-tightness.

WIND UPLIFT RESISTENCE
CERTIFICATION / LABORATORYThe test for uplift resistance to even extraordinarily strong winds was carried out on sheets of 0.7 mm thick aluminium. The pressure on the inner surface of the roof was obtained with the use of a plastic membrane.The roof and the plastic sheets were sealed to a wall of the test chamber and subjected to an (airbag effect) air pressure up to the required loading.
THE RESULTS SHOWED THE SYSTEM'S EXTRAORDINARY PERFORMANCE UP TO THE UNLOCKING POINT AT OVER 7 KN /M2.
