A3S: NAME AND MISSION
Association for Social Entrepreneurship and the Sustainability of the Third Sector
To promote social entrepreneurship and the sustainability of the third sector and its organisations.

WHO WE ARE
A3S is a non for profit Research and Development (R&D) association, borne 1 year ago.
We seek to found as a social enterprise (based on third sector principals and values we seek to establish means and tools of economic efficiency and sustainability).
We are 14 members with different ages, professional experiences, fields of work and training. Some of us seek to create our one job.

sector, as well as to disseminate relevant information.

Research: 1 major proposal waiting for financial approval; several volunteer events spreading out the third sector
Consultancy services : Professional training in third sector organizations and projects; elaboration of a Strategic Plan for qualifying third sector organizations and human resources in Barcelos
Networking: Start up of IR3S in 2006 and enlargement in 2008

METHODOLOGY
- Documental analysis of all information produced by the project and the partners (partners should send on time all information to external evaluation team)
- Short (15 minutes) structured interviews or questionnaires after transnational meetings with all partners
- 2 Questionnaires to all partners: October 2008 and 2009.
- 2 interviews in depth with coordinator partner
