insmalltundraandpermafrostthawstreamsinSiberiawiththeWoodsHoleResearchCenter,andinvestigatedglacialiron

Commonlyusedtechniquesincludespectrophotometricanalyses,elementalandbiochemicalcompositionsandstableandradioisotopestocharacterize

organicmattersources,degradationhistoriesandtodelineateorganicmatterdynamicsinarangeofenvironmentsfromsoilsandglaciersthroughrivers

andestuariesandintotheocean.

coastalrainforestmarginwatershedstoreceivingmarine

environments.Apredictionofhowclimateimpactswillalterthese

(95%CI,55.7,110.2).CoastalcarbonexportandriverCO2emissionsrepresentedthemajorityoftheflux.Wewouldliketohavebetterdatasetsof

pCO2andgastransfervelocitiestoreducetheuncertaintyinriverCO2emissionestimates.WewouldalsolikeabetterrepresentationoftotalCconcentrationsinriversandimprovedsurfacewatermapsforloworderstreams.Withtheseimproveddatasets,wemightbeabletogetabettersenseofthespatialandtemporalvariabilityofterrestrialCloadingto
