With over 20,000 acres, Apex Indu strial Park is Sou th ern Nevada’s largest indu strial park. How ever, potential for th e indu strial park h as been stu nted du e to lack of w ater infrastru ctu re. For nearly tw o decades, city officials h ave been w orking to ru n w ater ou t to Apex. Now w e get to see th eir efforts come to fru ition. Soon a 12-mile su rface w ater line w ill go u nder constru ction. Once bu ilt, th is w ater line w ill deliver w ater to more th an 3,000 acres. A 2016 report by th e Urban Land Institu te projects th at Apex Indu strial Park cou ld create 20,000 direct jobs and 56,000 indirect jobs for th e citizens of Sou th ern Nevada. With th is potential, it is evident th at Apex Indu strial Park is and w ill continu e to be a strongh old in North Las Vegas’ economy.
