The St. Philip’s Tea Room is a Spring favorite inCharleston and has been a tradition at St. Philip’s formany years. The Tea Room will be open for one week,from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., serving “LowcountryLunch and Delicious Desserts”—homemade soup, salads, sandwiches, and a daily variety of desserts.The Tea Room is staffed completely by volunteers, andit takes many hands to make a successful Tea Roomeach year. The Vestry would like to thank the congregationfor recommending 13 worthy potential candidates for the new Vestry class. The Nominating Committee and the Rector will now begin meeting to prioritize the list of recommendations according to the needs of the Parish, and will then approach the potential candidates to discuss serving. After thecandidates have prayerfully considered the call to serve on the Vestry, the Nominating Committee will inform the congregation of the final list of nominees, no later than Feb 19.There are four vacancies to be filled, and church members will vote to elect the new members of our Vestry at our upcomingAnnual Parish Meeting on Sunday, March 5.
