Highland’s latest dispenser for the clinical setting converts a standard, disposable hand-pump dispenser to a foot operated dispenser with complete ease. Using the time-tested and patented Highland foot-pump dispensing system, this unique design depresses thehand-pump in a completely hands-free way. Depression ofthe foot pedal exerts air pressureagainst the hand-pump by meansof a plunger integrated into the488 design. As with all Highlandfoot-operated dispensers, air fromthe foot pedal never comes incontact with the product beingdispensed.

Highland Laboratories time-tested FOOT-OPERATEDDISPENSERS FOR ANTIMICROBIAL SOAPS AND SOLUTIONS have helped hospital personnel preventthe spread of infection since 1953.

Hand-operated soap dispensers are potential sourcesof microbial contamination and resultant spread ofinfection. The only way to assure protection for theprofessional and for the patient is to avoid allpossible contact with the material other than theantimicrobial solution when hand washing.

Highland’s FOOT OPERATED systems are designed topromote an aseptic environment by reducing thepossibility of cross contamination.

All these systems have a metering valve that dispenses the same amount of solution EACHand EVERY time regardless of the solution level.Moreover, a diaphragm in the valve ensures thatcontained, pressurized air from the floor never contacts the antimicrobial solution.

Antimicrobial Soap/Solution Dispenser Model 480

Highland’s time tested dispenser for theclinical setting utilizes a disposable 1 qt.(1 liter) bottle, when empty just replacethe bottle. The 480 is available in 38mmand 28mm bottle neck sizes. Using thetime-tested and patented Highlandfoot-pump dispensing system, thisunique design dispenses the soap/solution in a completely hands-free way.As with all Highland foot-operateddispensers, air from the foot pedal nevercomes in contact with the product beingdispensed.
