Autism Awareness Day 20182nd
April 2018
We celebrated Autism Awareness Day in the Holy Heart Special School, it was celebratedby decorating the school. Games were planned for the students for that day. Autism andother forms of disability are part of the human experience that contributes to humandiversity. We want to get one step closer to a society where those with ASD are trulyvalued for their unique talents and gifts. We celebrated this day not only for the ASD butfor all the children with special needs who really need someone to guide, someone tolead.
Young Athletes and dental check up19th
April 2018
Special Olympics Bharat organized a Young Athletes and dental check up at FrankAnthony Public School. They demonstrated some activities related to fine motor andgross motor. Their team also done a free dental check up for kids. They had provided fewkits to educators through which educators can do lots of practices with students.
Visit of Modern Convent School19th
April 2018
On 19th April 2018, 15 students of Modern convent school came to Holy Heart School fortheir educational study tour. As a part of their curriculum they had conducted survey withstudents. They had also interacted with teachers and got the chance to know about kidsand their disability. They found our school a good platform to get to know about thesekids. Schools students were happy with playing them.

Students along with their class teacher participated in various activities like making oflemonade, fruit chat, chocolate making etc. Such kind of activities makes not only aperfect bonding between teacher and student but also makes students to learn newactivity of daily life.

During summer vacation summer camp was held at Holy Heart Special School. Schoolorganized various activities at school like diya painting, collage painting, dance activity,shopping for money concept, pot decoration, sports, etc.
On such sunny days students went for swimming where they loved doing swimming..money concept is very necessary so school had organized one trip to easy day forshopping and money concept.
Dance and music can heal many stress and tiredness among students so keeping this inmind school also organized a dance class for them. The main aim of this summervacation was to make students happy and learn some new activities at the same time.

Cooking Day
Creativity is the way I share my soul with the world. One cooking program was conductedat Holy Herat Special School for providing the chance to the students for showing theircreativity. The best part of this program was that they have to perform the program alongwith their class teacher.
They prepared various dishes like fruit salad, lemonade, sandwiches, chocolates etc. withthe help of their teacher. Through such activities students not only build their bond withtheir teacher but also gets the chance to learn how to make simple and easy dishes.Students enjoyed and organised everything very well.

July 2018Dental Check Up
One visit was made by a team ofdentist at our school for the checkup and to provide the awarenessabout oral hygiene.
Doctors checked each and everystudent of the school and they hadprovided them a brief report abouttheir teeth’s condition. They alsodelivered a lecture about how toclean your teeth, mouth and gums.
They provided a tooth brush alongwith tooth paste.
This type of visit is very helpful interms of providing and creating theknowledge among the studentsabout hygiene.
Brush your teeth every day, to keep dentist away…….. ☺
It is our 72nd Independence Day and we salute all individual who made the sacrifices forour country.
Independence Day was celebrated at our both branches i.e. Dwarka Mor and Nangloi.It is a day of tri colour so the program has started with the flag hosting. Students camein the white dresses some of the students came in the dresses of freedom fighters. Lateron some of the students delivered the speech on the importance of the IndependenceDay. Many of the group performed dance and group songs on patriotic songs. Studentsenjoyed the day by celebrating, dancing and having refreshment at school. At lastteachers had also told them about the importance of the nation one should have inhis/her heart.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration
A festival of forever bond between brother and sister...
A sister is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit, a golden thread to the meaning of thelife.
Children celebrated the festival of threads at school. They prepared and decorated therakhi. Both boys and girls students tied the rakhi to one another’s hand. They also sharedsweets among them. Raksha bandhan is the oldest festival of India and keeping this inmind we the team of Holy Heart Special School Dwarka Mor and Nangloi celebrated thisfestival very well.

Let’s celebrate the birth of lord Krishna with full fervour and enthusiasm…
Now its turn to celebrate the festival of Dahi and Handi. Many boys of school came in theShri Krishna attire. Teachers organised an activity of making greeting card and postermaking. They also sung Krishna bhajan in Morning Prayer to celebrate the birth of thealmighty. Festival was celebrated successfully at both the branches of Holy Heart SpecialSchool.
An Educational Visit
17 students from Brain International School visited our school.
The aim of the visit was community service to sensitize the students about differentlyabled students & learn the quality of gratitude. They performed various activities forstudents and coordinated with students.The activities like yoga which beneficial for health, dance which helps in making mindrelaxed and stress free, painting which helps to show us their creativity etc. areperformed during their visit. Such visits are very helpful for students in many ways. Theyalso get the chance to develop their social skills by meeting new people in their school.

Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration
Ganpati Bappa Moriya ☺
It was the day to celebrate the festival of Vighanharta. We celebrated this festival at ourschool by doing painting, dancing, sharing sweets and puja. It is very important tocelebrate the festival in school environment so that students get more exposure toknow about the tradition and culture about our country.
Students of both the branches Holy Heart Special School Dwarka Mor and Nangloiprepared eco-friendly statue of Lord Ganesh by newspaper mashing activity. Suchactivity connects students with environment also.

ISS DUSSHERA BURAI KO AAG LAGAO OR ACCHAI KO APNAO….
We celebrated Dusshera festival at our both branches of Holy Heart Special SchoolDwarka Mor and Nangloi by making painting, dancing and rangoli.
It is a festival of victory. Teachers organised various activities for students andcoordinated with them. They also prepared greeting card and exchanged with their classmates and their teachers. Students celebrated this festival with great enthusiasm andzeal.
Diwali Celebration 2018
Let this Diwali fire all your worries and bad days and let you enter the good times of your life.
Diwali festival was celebrated at our both branches of school with great energy andhappiness. Teachers exchanged gifts and sweets among them. Students painted Diyasthey also decorated school with flowers and lights. Such activity keeps calm to thestudents with hyperactivity.
Keeping environment in mind students prepared Rangoli with flowers petals. Teachersalso explained to the students about the disadvantage of cracking crackers.

Nov 2018It’s Dominos Day…Yipeeee☺
Dominos runs a program named Junior Pizza Making (JPM) under which their staffteaches school students about how to make a pizza and how to serve it. We took 10students for this program and brought them to the dominos outlet. Their staff taught ourstudents about pizza making. Students enjoyed the process during the session.
They also got the chance to learn about the pizza. Such activities are very important forthe all-round development of the students as they gets the chance for socialization.

Football Match with SachinTendulkar
Students from our school went for the sports event where they got the chance to meetand play with the great cricket player Sachin Tendulkar. There students enjoyed a lot bywatching Sachin playing football with students.
They spent a day there and learned about the skills of playing football.
World Disability Day 2018
On this Disability Day two Judges of DLSA from Tees Hazari came to celebrate the daywith our students. They had also planned painting competition for them. They alsoselected best three pictures and distributed prizes to them. They also distributedrefreshment to all the students. They also gifted two plant sapling for the school. Theyalso interacted with students about their daily routine and about their studies.

Ability Utsav 2018
Inter school multi-disability integrated festival (TalentShow) for the challenged children was organised by YMCA.
Our one student Vivek was selected for solo singingcompetition under the program of Ability Utsav 2018where he got second position in solo singing.
Ability Utsav program was scheduled to enhance thecreativity of the students by organising competitions likesinging, drawing, etc
Sports Meet at Parivartan School8th

Students from our school participated in sports meet which was held at ParivartanSchool. They have participated in various events like 25 mtr run, assisted walk, soft ballthrow, tennis ball throw and etc.
Our students actively participated in each events and performed very well. They also gotmedals for their achievement in the events. Teachers also coordinated very well withthem. Such sports meet is very necessary and beneficial for the gross motor of thestudents.

We celebrated Christmas at our school on 24th December. We at our both branches HolyHeart Special School Dwarka Mor and Nangloi organised many activities for students aswell as for educators. Students prepared greeting cards with the help of teachers. Theyalso decorated the Christmas tree with balls, socks, glitter sticks and balloons. They alsoprepared cotton snow ball. At last students performed dance on Christmas songs andwished all the students and teachers happy new year.

Our school students went for the program Pratibha Ki Parakh which was conducted atschool near Pritampura. Students from our school performed various programs there likesolo singing, solo dancing, group dancing and fancy dress show..
They enjoyed there a lot while performing their activities and with other students.

Our both branches celebrated the 70th Republic Day this time. School was decorated bystudents and teachers with balloons, ribbons, kites and flags.
Students delivered the speech on the importance of Republic Day of India. They have alsoperformed dance, songs, and also participated in the fancy dress show. They weredressed like Indira Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Mangal Pandey, etc.These kinds of activities helps them to realize the importance of the republic day.

On 2nd March 2019, AISESA organized an event names as "Aaghaaz 2019" for childrenwith special needs. The list of events were "SOLO DANCE, GROUP DANCE, FANCY DRESSAND SINGING".
10 students of our school particpated in Fancy Dress. and they performed on"COMMUNITY HELPERS THEME" like Doctor, Traffic Police, Postman, Civil Engineer, Chef,Policeman and Soldiers. 5 students of our school participated in group dance and they allgave a tribute to Pulwama Attack Soldiers by thier performace. 1 students participated insolo singing and sang a song.
1 student participated on Solo Dancing and she gave a tribute to Shri Devi. She danced onall songs of shri Devi Ma'am.
All our students enjoyed alot.

11 students of Holy Heart Special School attended this program and enjoyed alot. Thisevent was organized at Multi-Purpose Hall, India International Centre, Lodhi Road.
The show was fantastic, our students enjoyed a lot. And they got refreshments along withbunch of smiles.

On 20th March 2019, “Holi” the festival of colors was celebrated in the school (DwarkaMor Branch & Nangloi) with colors and flowers, sweets were distributed to the students,students enjoyed in DJ, everyone was dancing and in a very jolly mood.
We played games with the children and everyone was happy in the shower of colors.
